Carlsbad, CA – (January 18, 2022) – MCA Golf announced Tuesday a complete re-imagining of the company’s aftermarket exclusive C6 Series. Extremely popular with custom club fitters around the globe, C6 products are designed to give club fitters a premium Mitsubishi Chemical fitting option at a more attainable price point.

The reimagined C6 Series features a full cosmetic update, new materials, and a separation of hybrid and iron shafts not seen in the original C6 Series released five years ago. New C6 BLUE and C6 RED wood shafts use MCA’s renowned Titanium Nickel Wire Technology in an all-new application, replacing the Spread Tow Fiber used in previous iterations of the C6 Series and feature a sleek, updated new cosmetic.

“Our C6 Series has been a favorite throughout our network of global dealers and custom fitting accounts but was in need of a refresh – both materially and cosmetically. The new C6 line brings proven technology and a new look to an already established and trusted brand within the MCA Golf family. Our fitters around the globe will love fitting with it and golfers will love using it,” said MCA Golf Global Sales Director Jonathan Alongi.

Titanium Nickel is what’s known as a memory metal – a material that resists deformation and always works to return to its resting state. New C6 BLUE and C6 RED wood shafts use our famous TiNi Wire technology in an all-new application. TiNi Wire is oriented at a 45 degree angle in the tip section to resist ovalizing under load to help the golfer return the club face to impact squarely and provide more consistency swing-to-swing.

C6 wood shafts are offered in a mid-launch, mid-spin BLUE and a high-launch, mid-high spin RED and are available in a wide range of weights and flexes to optimize a golfer’s performance at nearly any swing speed.

For the first time in the C6 family, hybrid and iron shafts have been separated. The new C6 BLACK hybrid and C6 BLACK iron shafts feature a unique and versatile profile designed to deliver smooth feel and consistent, repetitive performance.

The new C6 Series will be available in March of 2022. C6 RED and BLUE Wood shafts will MSRP for $200 and C6 BLACK Iron and Hybrid shafts will MSRP for $75.
