MRC GOLF, INC. Launches the Next Generation KURO KAGE™ Irons with Titanium Nickel (TiNi) Wire

Carlsbad, CA (October 1, 2015) -- MRC GOLF introduces the next generation KURO KAGE™ Iron with Titanium Nickel (TiNi) Wire.

The next generation KURO KAGE™ TiNi Irons adds Titanium Nickel (TiNi) Wire to Low Resin Content (LRC) prepreg and a smooth overall bend profile with a lower balance point, all in a premium constant weighted iron product. This design and materials provide better swing weight without added club head weight, in addition to increased stability and feel at impact.

The KURO KAGE™ TiNi Iron shafts were developed to complement the family of KURO KAGE™ wood and hybrid shafts with TiNi Wire, by offering a variety of weights and flexes in a low balance, constant weight, designated-length iron shaft reinforced with TiNi Wire. These next generation shafts have a taper tip, low balance point and a constant weight, that offer better overall performance at a premium price.

The second generation with TiNi wire, like the original, optimizes ball flight for each weight and flex, by reducing the torque and raising the kick point as the weights increase and flexes become stronger. In the 65-gram model, the kick point is low; in the 85-gram, it's mid; and in the 105-gram, it's mid-high.

Who It’s Best For

The KURO KAGE™ TiNi Iron Series has been designed for the player looking for lighter weight shaft options to increase club head speed and distance with exceptional feel.
