SAFETY

Mitsubishi Chemical America, Inc. Sporting Goods Division is committed to manufacturing quality, reliable, and safe golf shafts to promote the enjoyment of the game for players of all abilities.

As a reminder, carbon golf shafts should always be inspected before each use for signs of damage. Impact with hard objects, other shafts or use during the course of a round of golf can all cause damage. We recommend flexing each shaft and inspecting for any sign of cracks or splits before each use. Grasp the shaft near the tip-section and butt-section, flex the golf shaft along its length so as to deflect it approximately 1” to 2” in an arc and listen for cracking. Never use a carbon golf shaft with any sign of damage. A cracked or split golf shaft can suffer catastrophic failure during normal use and cause severe injury to you or others in the area.

ERR ON THE SIDE OF CAUTION

Erring on the side of caution is always the best course of action when inspecting golf shafts. Mitsubishi Chemical America, Inc. Sporting Goods Division is committed to providing, safe, durable golf shafts. Use good judgment in determining whether or not something is unsafe, incorrect, or there is a possibility of harm.
